Kimberly was born in Naples, Italy and spent her most formidable years in Northern
California and Oregon. She earned her BA in Math from Lewis & Clark College, and lived in
Portland, Oregon for several years teaching math and Spanish.

In her spare time, she began doing charcoals of faces from photographs and slowly transitioned
into colored chalks and acrylics. At present, she is a Physician Assistant at Duke
University, where her love for all things biological and medical began to pour out onto the
canvas, and Idiopathic Art was born.

She currently resides in Durham, NC.
